Location: Shanghai, China
Global Major Project: Comprehensive Illuminative Projects
Project Information
In the year 2010, NVC Lighting undertook a comprehensive series of over 100 illuminative projects that significantly contributed to the resplendent atmosphere of the Shanghai World Expo.
Our endeavors encompassed a diverse array of venues, ranging from national stadiums to outdoor landscapes, resulting in a transformative impact on the Expo's visual milieu.
Enriching Expo Ambiance
Our lighting installations graced key locations such as the World Expo Park, the World Expo Celebration Square, the underground expanse of the Expo axis, accommodations within the Expo Village, the Urban Best Practice Area, the Rhone Alps Pavilion, the Expo Zero Carbon Pavilion, and Expo Plot C. These installations played a pivotal role in augmenting the World Expo's ambiance and allure.
Pioneering Sustainability: Zero Carbon Museum
An especially noteworthy achievement was NVC Lighting's role in rendering lighting solutions for the pioneering Zero Carbon Museum of London – China's inaugural public edifice boasting zero carbon dioxide emissions. This milestone accomplishment culminated in the receipt of the esteemed "Special Award to Forerunner for Zero Carbon Dioxide."
