Project Information
Nestled within the vibrant district of Nine Elms in Vauxhall, South-West London emerges a new architectural marvel—One Nine Elms.
This ambitious development features two remarkable residential towers, crowned as Europe's tallest residential structures.
These iconic towers are set to redefine luxury living, spanning over 730,000 sq ft of premium residential apartments.
A Symphony of Heights and Elegance
A symphony orchestrated by the main contractor, Multiplex, introduces the 56-storey City Tower, interconnected by a graceful glazed bridge to the 42-storey River Tower. This riverfront masterpiece boasts a dual identity—luxurious residences and a 173-room opulent hotel. The project, a collaborative effort of renowned professionals, sets the stage for an unparalleled living experience.
Illuminating Excellence
To complement the architectural grandeur, PJC Light Studio orchestrated the lighting design—a crucial facet of elevated luxury. On the wings of recommendations by R&F Properties, a partner experienced in collaborating with NVC, a stringent product approval journey commenced. The selection process encompassed comprehensive evaluations of NVC's operational and product prowess by key stakeholders—Multiplex, M&E contractor Sweco, architects KPF, and electrical contractors TClarke and Borough Engineering.
Meeting the Challenge with Elegance
NVC's products emerged triumphant, seamlessly meeting the rigorous criteria set by each stakeholder. This triumph earned NVC the esteemed privilege of contributing over 10,000 downlights and 5,000 meters of LED strip lights to adorn the towers. NVC's commitment to excellence extended to crafting lighting calculations that informed the product specification, ensuring every luminaire was tailored to the project's vision.
A Symphony of Craftsmanship
The installation of this illuminated masterpiece was entrusted to TClarke, an embodiment of intelligent building engineering. Electrical Manager Mark Wicker heralded NVC's role in the project, emphasizing the seamless synchronization between NVC's tailored solutions and the project's intricate timeline and budget. NVC's customized products were a testament to craftsmanship in the realm of light.
