Lighting the Way, Growing Together

On November 8, 2024, NVC Lighting Technology Vietnam Co., Ltd. celebrated its fifth anniversary at the company’s Vietnam campus. The event gathered a distinguished lineup of guests, including NVC International Holdings Limited Chairman Mr. Tony Wang, COO Ms. Grace Yang, Deputy Director of Research and Chief Engineer of Lighting Product Development Mr. Deven Ding, Vietnam General Manager Mr. Oasis Chen, Deputy General Manager Mr. James Yang, as well as department heads, managers, and over 400 employees.

General Manager Mr. Oasis Chen delivered a commemorative speech, recounting the factory’s five-year journey. He highlighted the company’s visionary decision to establish its North American manufacturing base in Vietnam in response to global market shifts, marking a pioneering step in the region. Chen recognized the leadership’s strategic foresight in overcoming cross-border operational challenges—from site selection and leasing to relocating to a larger facility—and achieving an impressive 500,000-order milestone. Reflecting on the future, he emphasized plans to elevate operational efficiency, implement lean management practices, and establish the factory as a highly standardized, digitally enabled facility that is well-prepared to compete globally. He also expressed appreciation for his team’s resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, attributing the factory’s achievements to their dedication.

Chairman Mr. Tony Wang shared his thoughts on the occasion, acknowledging this milestone as both a symbol of growth and the beginning of an ambitious journey forward. With a commitment to the principles of “Openness, Connectivity, and Change.” The Group aims to enhance production management, establish a robust training system, and invest in skill development to build a globally competitive workforce. Chairman Wang expressed confidence that NVC Vietnam will not only become a world-class production base but also nurture future industry experts and innovators, driving NVC’s global expansion.

The celebration also included an awards ceremony, recognizing outstanding employees and those with five years of dedicated service. In a symbolic gesture, leadership and employees participated in a tree-planting ceremony, planting trees as a tribute to the company’s steady growth and as a hopeful commitment to continued success and shared achievements.
